Announcing The 2025 GCP Participants!

The Center for Global Education is excited to announce the names of 50 lucky individuals selected for the 2025 Global Citizenship Project (GCP)!

The GCP 2025 participants are: Effy Adshead, Matthew Allen, Madison Bakalov, Maria Balakersky, Rylie Barr, Jose Barrera, Colin Benedict, Aysha Berry, Kevin Bixler, Rodney Bragdon, Malori Carlson, Madison Cavalet, Audrey Chapman, Matthew Clark, Katelynn Clukey, Jacob Colbus, Leann Curley, Emily Dendis, Samara Drummond, Darius “Seiko” Elmore, Jesse Funkhouser, Nelly Garcia, Aislin Given, Abigail Gomez, Sheila Hautbois, Benjamin Huffman, Yohan Joung, Dayton Keffer, Sophie Koutalakis, Gloria Kroh, Allison Lanzendorfer, Elizabeth Ledesma, Diego Marcos, Bailor McGettigan, Kyle McMeans, Jonah Medas, Eva Melendez, Sallie Miller, Rebecca Polanco, Caitlyn Rose, Amy Rowcliffe, Duston Scarborough, Emily Seelinger, Damien Smith, Ryan Snyder, Ethan Swope, Sidney Tucci, Leslie Vega Jimenez, Henry Woods and Luke Yager.

The individuals listed above will travel to one of five international destinations during spring break in March 2025. Participants will learn their destinations and trip leaders at International Convocation on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m.

The Global Citizenship Project will celebrate its 20th year in 2025. Since its inaugural year in 2005, the Global Citizenship Project has sent over 1,400 students, staff, faculty, and trustees to 69 countries and seven U.S. states and territories so that each participant might learn more about the world and themselves.
