DELAYED OPENING THURSDAY, JAN. 9

Shenandoah University opens at 10 a.m. today, Jan. 9, giving the sun a chance to work its magic on road surfaces. This 10 a.m. opening applies to all facilities, services and satellite locations, except: 

  • Dining services are available to those who previously registered for meal services during J Term.
  • The campus shuttle will not operate during J Term. Request a Safe Ride from the Department of Campus Safety by calling 540-678-4444.
  • Brandt Student Center building opens 30 minutes before the university opens, closing at its regularly scheduled time (5 p.m. during J Term). The BSC staff reports to work when Shenandoah University officially opens.
  • The Child Care Center opens one hour before the university opens.
  • The Office of Spiritual Life can be reached via email at spirituallife@su.edu, and a chaplain is always on call.
  • The Department of Campus Safety is always open. DCS officers are available around the clock to respond to your needs. Call 540-678-4444 or email safety@su.edu.
