SU Holding Its MLK Service of Remembrance On Jan. 21

Shenandoah University will hold its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Service of Remembrance on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 4 p.m. in Goodson Chapel-Recital Hall. The service begins with a concert by Shenandoah’s Harambee Gospel Choir, and will feature words, images, and music offered in honor and celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. King. All are invited to come together to honor Dr. King’s legacy and be commissioned to serve at a later date in his honor.

The Service of Remembrance is Shenandoah’s longest-running celebration of the King holiday, and the event is free and open to the public. Those who are unable to attend in person can join the service via Zoom (https://su.zoom.us/j/92938242084). Questions? Contact the Office of Spiritual Life at spirituallife@su.edu.
