Shenandoah University Participating In 2025 Virginia Private College Week

Prospective students who visit from July 21-26 will be entered to win an Amazon gift card and are eligible for an application fee waiver

Shenandoah University invites prospective students to visit its campus during Virginia Private College Week, which takes place from July 21-26, to learn more about the university’s academic programs, the admissions process, financial aid and student life.

Prospective students who visit Shenandoah during Virginia Private College Week will be entered into a drawing for one of five $100 Amazon gift cards and are eligible to receive an application fee waiver.

Throughout the week, Shenandoah will provide twice-daily tours and information sessions on its main campus in Winchester, Virginia. Tours and info sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, and there will be one tour and info session at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 26. Please note that due to Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre performances, some Shenandoah Conservatory spaces will be unavailable to tour during the 2 p.m. sessions on Tuesday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 23.

Prospective students and their families must register in advance to visit Shenandoah University. Please visit apply.su.edu/portal/fy_visits to register and to view the morning and afternoon tour/info session schedules.

Virginia Private College Week is sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV) and takes place each July. For each participating Virginia private college that they visit during the week, prospective students will have their name entered into the gift card drawing.
