WalletHub Taps Two SU Professors for Insight and Advice

Drs. Winn and Anwar Talk Insurance and Improving Credit

Shenandoah University Professor of Business Law John Winn, J.D., and Assistant Professor of Accounting Yunita Anwar, Ph.D., were both recently featured on WalletHub, with Dr. Winn discussing USAA Insurance and Dr. Anwar offering tips on how to use a credit card to improve bad credit.

Anwar suggested focusing on the “fundamentals of financial discipline” when using a credit card to raise a credit score. “The most critical actions are to always pay on time, and, most strategically, pay your balance in full before the monthly statement closing date, not just before the payment is due,” she said.
