Percussion Ensemble

The Percussion Ensemble is a dynamic music group devoted to all facets of percussion music performance. In addition to the fall and spring concerts, the ensemble presents an annual Percussion Showcase concert of solos, duets and trios. The group performs a wide range of repertoire that includes contemporary and world music. They collaborate frequently with other music ensembles, and have premiered new percussion compositions and special projects with the dance division.

In addition, the ensemble regularly works with internationally famous percussionists, including drum set artist Will Calhoun, and William Cahn of the Nexus percussion group.

The ensemble tours regionally performing at colleges, high schools and Days of Percussion presented by the Percussive Arts Society.
