Election Day Celebration and Rides to the Polls

The Center for Civic Engagement hosts a nonpartisan Victory for Voting Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center entrance and hallway. Students are invited to connect with the Center for Civic Engagement and the First-Year Seminar class Unmute Yourself to learn about the importance of civic engagement and the power of the college vote. Enjoy free refreshments and celebrate the right to vote while learning more about this year’s election. For students registered to vote using their campus address, shuttles to the local polling place at Jim Barnett Park depart from the main entrance of the Brandt Student Center at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. For transportation outside these times, contact serve@su.edu, and the Center for Civic Engagement will do its best to accommodate requests.
