First-Year Getaway and Chick-Fil-A

Get away during the first week of classes and enjoy an evening at Jim Barnett Park on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6-8 p.m. The event will include outdoor games, activities, time to meet fellow first-year and transfer students, and Chick-fil-A. The event is free, and all first-year and transfer students of all faiths are welcome. Meet at 5:40 p.m. at the Brandt Student Center’s front patio to complete liability forms before walking together to Jim Barnett Park. If you miss the group, meet at the Optimist Pavilion, 1235 Maple Dr., Winchester, VA 22601, across from the playground and main pavilion, Christianson Familyland. Register using this Google Form.
