Medicare Part D Day

The School of Pharmacy hosts Medicare Part D Day on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Health Professions Building library. At this event, practicing pharmacists and student pharmacists help current Medicare enrollees, eligible individuals and their caregivers navigate, compare and enroll in a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan that best fits their financial and personal needs. This free, one-day event requires no appointment. It also features Jay Thompson, a licensed Medicare specialist from Bankers Life & Casualty, and a partnership with Martin’s Pharmacy to offer flu and COVID-19 vaccines to the community. Attendees should bring a current medication list or medication bottles and, if already enrolled in Medicare, their Medicare ID card.
