PGY1 Pharmacy Practice:

Orientation; Internal Medicine; Critical Care; Behavioral Health; Ambulatory Care

Service Leadership; Resident Seminar; MUE; Project; Medication Safety

–  All Applicants should meet the following requirements

–  Curriculum vitae

–  Transcripts from an accredited school of pharmacy

–  Three letters of recommendation

–  Eligible for pharmacy licensure in the state of Virginia

–  Applications should be submitted through the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS)

PGY1 Resident for UVA Health Prince William Medical Center Dr. Amna Khan is currently a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at UVA Health Prince William Medical Center. Amna graduated from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, where she earned her PharmD. In addition to her residency, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Palliative Care. Dr. Khan has a passion for patient care, with a particular focus on pain management and end-of-life care.
