ShenCoLAB is BACK — and we’re gearing up for a full week of festivities this May!
Get ready for one of the conservatory’s most anticipated events of the season, with a week full of creativity, connection, collaboration, and plenty of ShenCoLAB energy. Whether you’ve been involved in ShenCoLAB before or are experiencing it for the first time, you won’t want to miss what’s in store!
What Is ShenCoLAB?
From Tuesday, May 4, through Saturday, May 8, Shenandoah Conservatory turns over the programming and facilities to students for a week of unbridled exploration, collaboration and creativity. Teams work across disciplines on self-directed, time-limited projects fueled by their own passion, drive and curiosity.
The week culminates with a day-long Festival of Arts, Ideas & Exploration featuring a wide variety of exciting, innovative and provocative performances, presentations, roundtable discussions and other special events.

Get Involved
All current Shenandoah Conservatory undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate in this year’s ShenCoLAB. You can spearhead a project, collaborate with other participants or work behind-the-scenes to support your fellow creatives.
While project proposals are due later this year, those wishing to join an accepted project or serve in a support role will have a bit more time to sign up. Stay tuned for more information on those opportunities!
