Shared Posts

Custom block to dynamically pull in POSTS only from the other multisites. The editor can choose to display the items in a grid view (default) or use the toggle to display in a slider (slider arrows will appear on the front-end, but not the editor view). User has the ability to adjust the number of items displayed with a max of 20. The site will default to the current microsite, but the editor is able to select any of the microsites that have been created (only one site can be selected at a time). Further narrowing can occur by selecting selecting a taxonomy term – these terms are the available Category term items associated to the selected microsite. There is then the ability to control a few display settings for the post items – show Post Type, show Date, show Excerpt, show Image and show Terms.

Note that posts are displayed in descending date order.
