The Physician Assistant (PA) Program is one of the newest educational
programs at Shenandoah University (SU). This accredited, seven semester,
27-month graduate-level program leading to a Master of Science in
Physician Assistant Studies degree boasts brand-new, state-of-the-art
classrooms and labs with modern computer technology, and experienced
faculty with national reputations in the physician assistant profession.
The SU PA Program is located in historic Winchester, Virginia, on
the campus of the Winchester Medical Center, a 408-bed regional
referral hospital, which is part of Valley Health System. The PA
Program is in the northern Shenandoah Valley, an area that offers
many opportunities for outdoor recreation, including hiking and
camping at the nearby Shenandoah National Park. You are invited
to tour the Physician Assistant Program site to learn more about
our faculty, students, and admissions requirements. There is also
