On Friday, February 5, 2016, the faculty, staff, and students of the Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business gathered in Stimpson Auditorium to raise awareness for the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day and Women’s Heart Health Month.
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. Risk factors for heart disease are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, diabetes, obesity, poor diet, physical inactivity, and excessive use of alcohol.
We encourage you to start taking steps towards a healthy heart.
