Short Play by Westray ’19 Accepted for NYC Summerfest 2019

William Westray’s ’19 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) first short play, “86 Rob the Waiter,” first presented at The Playwright’s Performance at Shenandoah University in September 2018, has been accepted to be a part of the NYC Summerfest 2019. The play was originally directed by Dorian Davis ’20 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) and featured Nisa Mercado ’20 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), Diego Cortes ’21 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), Jaya Joshi ’19 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) and Annie Lesser ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre). A new creative team will be organized for the New York Theater Festival’s Summerfest Festival.
