Students Study Arts Leadership in Greece During GEL Trip

From May 20 through May 31, 11 students traveled to Greece for the Summer Arts Leadership Institute GEL trip with Director and Associate Professor of Performing Arts Leadership & Management David Edelman, M.F.A. and Assistant Dean of Administration, Executive Director of Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Leadership & Management Jennifer Green-Flint ’09, ’15, D.Prof. The experience was a 10-day intensive program in international and intercultural issues facing future arts leaders. The institute was hosted at the American College of Greece in Athens and featured discussions with European cultural leaders, study tours of Athens, a guided daylong tour of Epidaurus and Mycenae, attendance at four evening performances in Athens, and a leadership day at the beach.
