Associate Professor of Voice, Coordinator of Musical Theatre Voice and Artistic Director of the Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM) Vocal Pedagogy Institute Matt Edwards ’15, D.M.A., was the pop/rock vocal coach for Lawrence Conservatory’s production of Bernstein’s “Mass” last year. The production won third place in Division IV of the National Opera Association (NOA) Production Competition.

“The goal of the NOA Opera Production Competition is to further the organization’s mission by encouraging and rewarding creative, high-quality opera productions at academic institutions and music conservatories.” The production was directed by Copeland Woodruff, music directed by Andrew Crooks and conducted by Andy Mast.
