Johnson ’21 Joins Signature Theatre’s Overtures Summer Program

Kiana Johnson ’21 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting) was accepted into Signature Theatre’s Overtures summer program in Washington, D.C. According to the organization’s website: “Designed for college students and recent graduates, Overtures is a two-week intensive, professional training program that provides rigorous and comprehensive instruction in vocal technique, performance technique, dance, acting and audition skills. Students participate in classes, private sessions and master classes from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. six days a week from June 22 to July 4. The experience culminates with an audition for local professional casting directors and a showcase for the public.” Visit www.sigtheatre.org to learn more.
