Julian Schwarz – February 2020 Performance Highlights

Assistant Professor of Cello Julian Schwarz, M.M., performed Édouard Lalo’s “Cello Concerto” with the Puerto Rico Symphony and gave a masterclass at the Puerto Rico Conservatory on Feb. 7. He also performed the Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto with Symphoria (formerly the Syracuse Symphony) and gave a masterclass for the Symphoria Youth Orchestra on Feb. 15. On Feb. 21, Schwarz performed as part of the Kallos Chamber Series in New Haven, Connecticut. He also performed with the Frisson Sextet on tour in Sanibel Island, Florida, on Feb. 23. Schwarz performed Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 with the Wichita Falls Symphony in Texas on Feb. 29.
