You can take these courses to familiarize yourself with graduate work and even start what could lead to a graduate certificate!

Anatomy & Physiology

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to enroll this summer in graduate Anatomy & Physiology courses!

Start your graduate health studies with the advantage of experience in graduate level science courses, or strengthen your graduate health application with the proof that you have successfully completed graduate level courses.

Registration limited to a maximum of 2 courses per registrant. Successful completion of an undergraduate Anatomy & Physiology course is recommended.

CAP 510 Anatomy Lecture & Lab | 6 credits

May 26 – August 15
This lecture course provides an in-depth study of human anatomy with an emphasis on normal form and function as they relate to clinical medicine.

CAP 560 Histology | 3 Credits

May 26 – August 15
The course addresses the microscopic structure and function of human cells and tissues that make up the organ systems.

CAP 590 Physiology | 3 Credits

May 26 – August 15
This course provides in-depth instruction in the physiology of the major systems of the human body: nervous, muscular, circulatory, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and reproductive.

CAP 630 Control Systems | 2 Credits

May 26 – August 15
This course addresses the two major systems that regulate body function, the nervous and endocrine systems.

CAP 640 Embryology | 2 Credits

May 26 – August 15
This course involves in-depth discussion of the mechanisms and clinical relevance of human development in the embryonic and fetal stages.

Performing Arts Medicine (PAM)

Get a head start on our graduate-level Performing Arts Medicine Certificate.

PAM 700 Performing Arts Terminology | 1 Credit

July 1 – August 10
This course will help the health professional to gain an understanding of the terminology and basic performance approaches in dance, including ballet, modern dance, jazz and tap; and music performance.

Performing Arts Health and Fitness (PAHF)

Take the first step in earning our brand-new Performing Arts Health and Fitness Certificate by enrolling in an online course.

July 1 – August 10
This course will introduce the students to terminology of basic anatomical orientations, positions and motions related to the performing artists.
