Spice Explores History of Electronic Music with Western Music History Students

Assistant Professor of Music Production & Recording Technology Graham Spice, M.S., presented a lecture presentation on the history of electronic music to students in the Core Western Music History II course taught by Coordinator of Music Literature and Associate Professor of Music History and Literature Laurie McManus, Ph.D., earlier this month. The group discussed a number of technological advancements that took place in the late 1800s and early 1900s, setting the stage for the music technology that is known and used today.
