McManus and Ruth Present Research at American Musicological Society National Meeting

Coordinator of Music Literature and Associate Professor of Music History and Literature Laurie McManus, Ph.D., and Assistant Professor of Music History Christopher Ruth, Ph.D., will present at the virtual national meeting of the American Musicological Society on Saturday, Nov. 7; Sunday, Nov. 8; Saturday, Nov. 14; and Sunday, Nov. 15. McManus will present “Priesthood of Art: On Gender and Art Religion” and Ruth will present “Spirituality and the Fugal Topos: Contrapuntal Signification in the Dramatic Works of Robert Schumann.”
