Clarinet Students Eady ’22 and Mattson ’24 Place in MTNA Virginia State Level Competition

Clarinet students Peter Mattson ’24 (Bachelor of Music in Performance) and Erin Eady ’22 (Master of Music in Performance) have won the Virginia state level of the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) Young Artists Collegiate Woodwind Competition. Mattson won first place and Eady was selected as the alternate winner. Mattson will go on to compete at the Southern Division Level where he will represent the state of Virginia.
