Article by Meyer and Helding Published in Journal of Singing

Director of the Janette Ogg Voice Research Center and Associate Professor of Voice (Baritone) and Vocal Pedagogy David Meyer, D.M., and Lynn Helding (University of Southern California) published an article in the January/February edition of the Journal of Singing, the peer-reviewed journal published by the National Association of Teachers of Singing. In the article, “Practical Science in the Studio: No-tech Strategies,” advances in cognitive and behavioral science are discussed as they relate to the training of singers.Teachers can support student learning and behavior change through voice pedagogical techniques discussed in this paper.
