Sō Percussion Begins Digital Residency

Sō Percussion kicked off its digital residency week with an exclusive free livestream performance on Shenandoah Conservatory’s Facebook page and Shenandoah University’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, April 27. The performance featured works and personal introductions by an impressive lineup of composers, including Viet Cuong, Angelica Negron, Caroline Shaw, Susan Marshall, Darian Thomas and Vijay Iyer.

On Thursday, April 29, the award-winning new music pioneers performed readings of new works by Samuel Bradshaw ’22 (Bachelor of Music in Composition), Christopher Meyer ’21 (Master of Music in Composition), Chance Morris ’24 (Bachelor of Music in Composition) and Matti Bissen ’22 (Bachelor of Music in Composition).
