Robblee Guest Conducts and Teaches at High Schools Across the U.S.

Director of Bands and Associate Professor of Conducting Tim Robblee, Ph.D., guest conducted and taught in multiple high schools across the United States during the months of January and February. He hosted and conducted 75 high schoolers, composer Theresa Martin and the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” for the 2022 Mid-Atlantic Honor Band invitational from Friday, Jan. 28, through Sunday, Jan. 30. Robblee conducted the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association (VBODA) District 9 All-District Band in Gainesville, Virginia, from Thursday, Feb. 3, through Saturday, Feb. 5.

“I’m grateful to have such great public school colleagues and friends in Arlington, Alexandria, Centreville, Ashburn, Glen Allen, Falls Church, Herndon and throughout the Mid-Atlantic,” said Robblee.

He was also the featured clinician at the Eastern Washington University (EWU) Band Invitational in Spokane, Washington, on Friday, Feb. 11, and Saturday, Feb 12. During his visit he taught conducting classes to college students and high school teachers, as well as conducted the EWU Wind Ensemble and three guest high school bands from Washington.
