Trumpet Ensemble Advances to Live Round of National Trumpet Competition

The Shenandoah Conservatory Trumpet Ensemble advanced to the live round of the National Trumpet Competition (NTC) after competing in a virtual preliminary round. The 2022 live round of the competition will take place from Thursday, March 31, through Saturday, April 2, at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.

The NTC is a nonprofit that has been providing an educational outlet for the past 25 years to young trumpet players from around the United States. With a yearly competition, masterclasses and array of concerts, NTC strives to provide the highest quality atmosphere to showcase up-and-coming artists and provide access to some of the world’s premiere trumpet artists and faculty from around the world.
