Romano ’91 Presents Flute Workshops to Local Students and Performs in Maryland

Adjunct Associate Professor of Musicianship Charlene Romano ’91, M.M., presented a series of flute fundamentals workshops to flute students at Daniel Morgan Intermediate School and Daniel Morgan Middle School in November. These workshops covered instrument maintenance, posture and set-up, tone production, articulation, scales and extended techniques. Romano performed as second flutist and piccoloist with the St. Louis (Maryland) Chamber Orchestra in December.
