Rebecca Nickerson Chappell ’09 (B.F.A. in Dance)

Rebekah Nickerson Chappell ’09 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance) is a teaching artist, performer and dance maker in greater Austin, Texas. Formerly the assistant director of the Master of Fine Arts program in dance at Hollins University, she has also taught at SUNY Brockport and San Jacinto College South. Chappell’s creative work has been presented at the Houston Fringe Festival, the InHale/ExHale Performance Series, Charlotte Dance Festival and many others. She is an Alexander Technique teacher and her research explores the relationship between identity and embodiment.
