Beller ’19 Hired as Coordinator for Band Operations

Clarinetist Libby Beller ’19 (Bachelor of Music in Performance, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics) was hired as the coordinator for band operations for Shenandoah University’s Department of Athletic Bands.

“I am very excited to have Libby join the team as we prepare for our first year of marching band at Shenandoah,” said Director of Athletic Bands Shaun Evans, D.M.A. “Please join me in welcoming her back home to SU!”

During her studies at SU Libby was the first female pep band director for the Buzzin’ Dozen, president of the Kappa Epsilon Chapter of the Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, and still managed to perform in each of the instrumental ensembles on campus. In her new role as coordinator for band operations, she will create and navigate all of the logistics necessary to ensure students have a positive marching band experience of which they are proud.
