“Spirituality and the Fugal Topos in the Secular Dramatic Works of Robert Schumann,” a chapter written by Assistant Professor of Music History Christopher Ruth, Ph.D., was published in the book “Sacred and Secular Intersections in Music of the Long Nineteenth Century” in late June.
