Chapter by Romano ’91 Featured in Book That Won An Outstanding Multi-Author Collection Award

The Routledge Companion to Music Theory Pedagogy, edited by Leigh VanHandel, which includes a chapter by Adjunct Associate Professor of Musicianship Charlene Romano ’91, M.M., received the Outstanding Multi-Author Collection Award from the Society for Music Theory (SMT). This is the first time in SMT history that a pedagogical publication has won the award. Romano’s chapter “Accommodating Dyslexia in the Aural Skills Classroom” is a case study.
