Hoffman ’15 and Dill ’17 Collaborate in ‘Once’ at Laguna Playhouse

Julia Hoffmann ’15 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting) and Kyle Dill ’17 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production) are currently working together on the musical “Once” at Laguna Playhouse in Laguna Beach, California.

Hoffmann is playing Réza and is also the first female-identifying music director of any production of “Once.” She was last seen on the Laguna Playhouse stage as Percy Talbott in “Spitfire Grill.” National tours include “Once,” “Rockin’ Road to Dublin,” “Cirque Musica” and “Christmas in Killarney.” Regional credits include “Natasha,” “Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812” (regional premiere), “Once,” “Hello, Dolly!,” “Annie,” “Almost Heaven,” “Buddy,” “The Curious Savage,” “The Buddy Holly Story” and “Smoke on the Mountain.”

Dill currently serves as the production stage manager of “Once” at Laguna Playhouse. Other recent credits include the national tour of “Annie” and the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre.
