MCWI Presentations To Air On C-SPAN

Talks From Spring Conference To Be Viewable Online After Initial Broadcast

Presentations from the McCormick Civil War Institute‘s spring conference, “‘So Tired & Exhausted’: In Battle’s Aftermath,” will begin airing on C-SPAN 2 on Saturday, June 17, at 2 p.m.

The four presentations, from leading scholars of the Civil War era, are expected to air in the order they were presented at the conference each week during that time slot, meaning that “‘Crushed Under the Weight of this Staggering Blow’: Exploring Battle’s Impact on Families,” presented by MCWI Director Jonathan A. Noyalas ’01, M.A., should be the first to be broadcast.

After a presentation airs for the first time on television it will then be available online.
