Angela Rudolph-Wiseman ’99

On July 1, Angela Rudolph-Wiseman (B ’99) was appointed by Governor Glenn Younkin to the Virginia Board of Accountancy. (Pictured to the left.)

Corcoran Holt (C ’04) is an assistant professor of jazz bass at Arizona State University School of Music in Tempe, Arizona.

On July 22, Patrick McCoy (C ’05) hosted a special live conversation entitled “Across the Arts with Patrick D. McCoy” with Michael Stepniak, Ed.D., in honor of his recent promotion. (Pictured in the featured image of this blogpost.) McCoy was also recently named the new development and communications manager for the Washington Conservatory of Music in Glen Echo, Maryland.

In July, Jennifer Miller (HP ’05), presented at the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants’ annual conference in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Chris Peter (AS ’06) was appointed to be the new athletic director for Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, Virginia.

Cheryl Norman (E ’07) was promoted to the vice president of Academic and Student Affairs for University of Northwestern in St. Paul, Minnesota.

On July 30, Michael Misko (C ’08) returned to Shenandoah University to perform a magic show for a fundraiser to benefit the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre (SSMT).

On July 22, Roxie Doniphan Thomas Clayton (C ’09), was highlighted in an article entitled “DONIPHAN DANCE PROJECT Modern dance company to perform free concerts in July.”

On July 19, Eric Gleason (C ’13) and Aggie Froehlich Gleason (AS ’14) welcomed their daughter, Sophia, into the world.

On July 3, Brian Raciborski (C ’13) became the new assistant principal for Berkeley Springs High School in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.

Alums Tyrone Parker (AS ’17) and Cherish Williams Parker (C ’17)On July 1, Tyrone Parker (AS ’17) and Cherish Williams (C ’17) were married in Baltimore, Maryland. (Pictured to the left.) Myles Hairston (AS ’14, B ’16) and Taylor Butts Coleman (C ’17) were in the wedding party.

On Feb 18, 2022, Matthew Hwang (B ’18) became a MV-22 Pilot for the United States Marine Corps. On June 18, 2022, Matthew Hwang (B ’18) married Kirstyn Hwang. Brett Dubin (B ’18), Brian Harris (B ’19) and Kyler Apgar (B ’19) were in the wedding party.

From June 15 – July 15, Dot Kelly (C ’18, ’21) performed in the screen-to-stage musical, “Singin’ in the Rain,” at Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, Maine.

On Aug 1, Kayla O’Connell (AS ’19, HP ’20) became the assistant athletic trainer for Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina.

On October 10, 2022, Bridget Mason (HP ’21) became a clinical research coordinator specializing in emergency medicine for the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia.
