Play by Blake ’00 about Mental Health Presented at Shenandoah University

Shenandoah University presents “Diagnosed,” a play written and directed by Iyona Garner Blake ’00 (Bachelor of Music in Performance), at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, in Shingleton Dance Space.

“We as a university want to bring awareness of the importance of mental health to our campus community and Iyona’s play is the perfect way to do that as it is centered around this topic,” said the Office of Alumni Affairs.

Admission is free and open to everyone (faculty/staff, students, alumni, the Winchester community, etc.). Pre-registration is encouraged due to limited seating for each showing.

The event is presented in partnership with Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Academic Affairs (Conservatory), the Division of Student Affairs and the Office of Alumni & Constituent Relations.

Visit advancement.su.edu/diagnosed to learn more about the play and register to see one of the performances.
