Announcing The 2024 GCP Participants!

The Center for International Programs is excited to announce the names of 50 lucky individuals selected for the 2024 Global Citizenship Project (GCP)!

The GCP 2024 participants are: Nadia Ali, Mataz Alnajar, Caitlin Andersen, Madison Anderson, Ian Bailey, Crystal Barchacky, Sha’dyamond Bond, Jordane Brown, Elizabeth Corbin, Jackie DeLong, Linda Diaz Gil, Kenya Doyle, Jennifer Dunnavant, Vivienne Gianneschi, Lacey Gordon, John Hayes, Barry Helmick, Adrian Hoffman, Elijah Immanuel, Gabrielle Krystofiak, Ty Le, Reece Levin, Micah Link, Hannah Maltos, Joshua McLean, Lisa McVey, Brodie Meyers, Francisco Meza Rodriguez, Kara Mondrone, Dori Mouris, Kirsten Mycko, Greeley Myers, Kimberly Newberry, Jaedyn Olson, Caitlin Orender, Alvin Osorio Flores, Aurora Padilla-Jimenez, Callie Pellegrino, Rylan Phillips, Alexi Plata, Maria Pomares, Jailynn Rivera, Sabrina Rivera, Adan Sanchez, Matthew Shakley, Anna Shenk, Liberty Tennyson, Kaylee Trumper, Virgilio Vazquez, and Mikayla White.

The individuals listed above will travel to one of five international destinations during spring break in March 2024. Participants will learn their destinations and trip leaders at International Convocation on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. All Shenandoah students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend the event, which will be held in the Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room.

Since its inaugural year in 2005, the Global Citizenship Project has sent approximately 1,000 members of the university community to 68 international and domestic destinations so that each person might learn more about the world and themselves. To learn more about GCP, visit su.edu/gcp.
