Ponti Moderates Discussion with Pulitzer Prize-Winning Composer Anthony Davis

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music Literature Carla Ponti, Ph.D., moderated an online discussion with Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and Opera Hall of Fame inductee Anthony Davis on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Davis discussed his operas, including “X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X” and “The Central Park Five” with the graduate students of MULT 595/795 (Contemporary American Opera and Politics).
