Isely ’24 Serves as Artistic Director for The Valley Chorale’s Christmas Concerts

Samantha Isely ’24 (Master of Music in Pedagogy – Contemporary Commercial Music/CCM Voice) is serving as the artistic director for The Valley Chorale’s Christmas concerts, “Once Upon A Christmas.”

“We are delighted to once again have a Shenandoah student at our artistic helm,” said David Freese, president of The Valley Chorale.

Maddie Berkle ’24 (Bachelor of Music Therapy), Chris Limjuco ’24 (Master of Music in Conducting) and Blake Mitchell ’24 (Master of Music in Pedagogy (Contemporary Commercial Music – CCM Voice), as well as Riley Taylor ’25 (Bachelor of Music in Music Education), Emanuel Singletary ’25 (Bachelor of Music in Performance), Maddison Shawkey ’24 (Bachelor of Music in Music Education) and Reese Holahan ’25 (Master of Music in Pedagogy – Voice) are also singing with the ensemble.

The Valley Chorale, originally known as the Front Royal Oratorio Society, was established in 1962. Singers are non-paid and selected by audition. The chorale is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization supported by both private and public funds, including the town of Front Royal, Marion Park Lewis Foundation, Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
