Romano ’91 Teaches, Presents and Performs Throughout Region

Adjunct Associate Professor of Musicianship Charlene Romano ’91, M.M., continues to maintain flute teaching studios in Winchester and in Richmond, Virginia. She presented numerous flute workshops at middle and high schools in both areas throughout the Fall 2023 semester. Romano performed with the St. Louis (Maryland) Chamber Orchestra in December. At the invitation of Dr. Katrina Roush, Romano served as a panelist for the Music Theory Pedagogy Seminar at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She continues to perform frequently with clarinetist John Romano ’91 (Bachelor of Music in Performance) as DuoRomano.
