Davin Performs at Denver Guitar Festival, Lexington Bach Festival

Guitar Studio Director and Associate Professor of Guitar Colin Davin, M.M., presented a concert and masterclass as part of the annual Denver Guitar Festival hosted at the University of Denver Lamont School of Music from Sept. 6, through Sept. 8. Attended by guitarists from all over the world, the three-day event also featured the Josefina P. Tuason International Guitar Competition, for which Davin served as a semifinal and final round judge.

Additionally, Davin also performed as part of the Lexington Bach Festival in Lexington, Michigan, presenting a concert program to a capacity crowd that placed his own transcription of Bach’s Cello Suite No. 6 in D Major, BWV 1012 in dialogue with works from the 19th and 20th centuries.
