Stand Up For Justice At Student Day Of Action In Richmond

Are you ready to make your voice heard? Participate in the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy’s 2025 Student Day of Action, an empowering two-day event on Jan. 30-31, at the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond. This opportunity is sponsored by the Office of Spiritual Life and the Center for Civic Engagement, and all transportation, lodging, and meals will be covered.

On Thursday, Jan. 30, you’ll enjoy a warm welcome reception, mocktail hour and hands-on training to prepare for legislative meetings. On Friday, Jan. 31, you’ll meet state legislators, attend impactful workshops on Virginia’s important issues, and connect with passionate advocates from across the state.

This is your chance to learn about government, make a difference, and advocate for policies that matter to thousands of Virginians. Whether you’re a first-time advocate or a seasoned organizer, this experience will equip you with the tools and inspiration to create meaningful change. And as a bonus, your overnight lodging is covered and there is the potential for class credit (check with your professor!).

The new registration deadline is Monday, Jan. 13. Sign up using this Google Form. Space is limited, so sign up now to reserve your spot and join the movement for justice and equity.
