Sign Up For Global Game Jam 2025

Join the Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning (SCiL) for Game Jam 2025 from Jan. 31-Feb. 2 in Hazel-Pruitt Armory, home of the Hub for Innovators, Veterans and Entrepreneurs (HIVE). Participants will spend a full weekend developing and creating a completed game that will be shared with other jammers at the end of the weekend. Games must follow the Global Game 2025 theme (to be announced), but may be in any format (virtual reality, computer, card, board, etc.). SCiL resources (sound booth, motion capture studio, AR/VR lab, and Makerspace) will be available to assist with the creative process. The Game Jam is open to all participants, and no experience is required.

This event kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, with a theme introduction and basic guidelines. All games will be presented and demonstrated starting at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2.

SCiL will provide snacks and drinks for participants, so please register using this Google Form to ensure there are plenty to go around. Questions? Contact SCiL Operations Manager Mariah Arant at marant21@su.edu.
