January 2025 Class Notes

Dec. 12-15, Pam Bell (B ’83) had a featured role in “I Remember Christmas: A Live Radio Play” presented by Barns of Rose Hill, in collaboration with Winchester Little Theatre in Winchester, Virginia.

In January, Ben Naasz (C ’97) joined the faculty at Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona, teaching Stagecraft and Lighting for the Stage and Media. 

On Jan. 2, Chris Lassiter (AS ’98) was named a 2024 “News Leader Newsmaker” in Staunton, Virginia. 

On Aug. 31, Camden Abbey (B ’19) married Megan Stevens (AS ’20, HP ’21, ’23) in Manchester, Pennsylvania. Alumni Brooks Abbey (EL ’13, ’14), Dan Cameron (B ’17), Natalie Fyock (AS ’20) and Amanda Hennen (AS ’20, HP ’21, ’24) were in the wedding party. (pictured to the left)

On Jan. 7, Wyatt Schannauer (AS ’22) became a police officer for the Snoqualmie/North Bend Police Department in Snoqualmie, Washington.  

On Jan. 8, Maddie Kimble (AS ’24) surpassed 1,000 points in her basketball career. 

Alumni Passing

Sheryln B. Shaughnessy (N ’74, ’82, B ’92) of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Jan. 3, 2025.

Thomas A. Potts (EL ’99) of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away on Dec. 22, 2024. (pictured to the right)
