Follow These Steps To Place A Work Order

The Physical Plant team, composed of maintenance and custodial staffs, keeps the university clean and operating smoothly. If something in a university physical space is broken, not working properly, or needs tidying, you can let Physical Plant know by placing a work order.

That can be done right from the SU website at the bottom of the page under “Taking Care of Business.” If you’re a student in a residence hall, you can also scan the QR code on the back of your door to be directed to the work order system. Soon, you will start seeing the QR code stickers showing up in classrooms and other public spaces. Let Physical Plant know what building, what room, and what the issue is, and staff will be glad to take care of it.

If you have difficulty submitting a work order, or you have any other questions, please contact the Physical Plant office by calling 540-678-4444 or emailing phyplt@su.edu.
