Audition For The SU Marching Band

Auditions for the Shenandoah University Marching Band are now open.

  • All accepted members receive a $2,000 Scholarship for each academic year of participation while registered as a full-time student.
  • The band provides all instruments and equipment to ensure equity across the ensemble.
  • The band performs at all home football games and an array of university events.
  • Marching band is a two-credit course that can assist with your GPA.
  • You will have the opportunity to build connections with other students across the university before the first day of classes.
  • You will help create traditions that others will cherish for years to come and memories that will last a lifetime. 

Applications are due by July 1. In-person auditions for the color guard will be held Sunday, April 27, in Shingleton Gymnasium and Saturday, June 7, in the Wilkins Athletic & Events Center, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
