Director and Professor of Music Education Stephanie Standerfer, Ph.D., presented a professional development session for music teachers of Manassas City Public Schools on Aug. 4. The presentation, “Creating Music for Literacy Skill Development,” focused on using fun composition and improvisation strategies in general and choral music K-12 classrooms.
