he Department of Campus Safety welcomes you to Shenandoah University and invites you to take a few minutes to review the Parking & Driving Policy. It is designed with the safety of the campus community in mind. This policy pertains to all locations owned or operated by Shenandoah University.  Motor vehicle laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia also apply on all university property.

Parking & Driving Policies

Student Parking Permits 

To register your vehicle, you must provide your vehicle registration information to the Department of Campus Safety. Parking permits are good from August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026. The cost for a permit is $175.00 and will be paid through the parking permit form.

All parking permit sales are FINAL. NO refunds will be granted.

Pick-Up Locations

Parking permit decals can be picked up during Welcome Week activities in the Brandt Student Center or by visiting the Department of Campus Safety office in the Wilkins Administrative Building, Room 143. The DCS office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Information about pick up for locations outside of main campus will be available soon.

Faculty & Staff Parking Permits 

To register your vehicle, you must provide your vehicle registration information to the Department of Campus Safety. Parking permits are good from August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026.

Violations

If you are a campus visitor and received a violation, please bring the ticket to the Department of Campus Safety Office in the Wilkins Building.

If you believe you received a parking violation in error, please use the following link to submit an appeal.
