The Department of Campus Safety welcomes you to Shenandoah University and invites you to take a few minutes to review the Parking & Driving Policy. It is designed with the safety of the campus community in mind. This policy pertains to all locations owned or operated by Shenandoah University. Motor vehicle laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia also apply on all university property.
Parking & Driving Policies
Student Parking Permits
To register your vehicle, you must provide your vehicle registration information to the Department of Campus Safety. The cost for the 2023-24 (good from August 1, 2023 through July 30, 2024) is $154. Your parking permit will be charged to your student account and payable within 30 days.
All parking permit sales are FINAL. NO refunds will be granted.
Faculty & Staff Parking Permits
- Register your vehicle. You must provide your vehicle registration information to the Department of Campus Safety.
- Pay for your parking decal(s). You must pay for your decals using the form below. A receipt of payment will be emailed at the time of purchase. Bring a copy of this receipt when picking up your decal(s) from Campus Safety.
Picking Up Your Parking Pass
Winchester
Pick up permits at the Brandt Student Center starting Wednesday, August 23 through Wednesday, August 30 between the hours 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. DCS will staff a table for this purpose between the game room and the Grill at the Brandt Student Center. After August 30, permits may be picked up at the Department of Campus Safety Office in the Wilkins Building.
Scholar Plaza, Loudoun
Pick up permits at the main counter starting Wednesday, August 23 during normal business hours. See the front desk staff.
ICPH, Fairfax
Pick up permits from Debbie Lynn starting Wednesday, August 23 during normal business hours.
Health Professions Building
Pick up permits from Jackie Hott in Room 202A starting Wednesday, August 23 during normal business hours.
Appealing a Violation
If you are a campus visitor and received a violation, please bring the ticket to the Department of Campus Safety Office in the Wilkins Building.
If you believe you received a parking violation in error, please use the following link to submit an appeal.
