Know Your Midterm Ballot: Navigating State and Local Elections

The Center for Civic Engagement hosts “Know Your Midterm Ballot: Navigating State and Local Elections” on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 6-7:30 p.m. in Brandt Student Center, Room 118. The dialogue provides an opportunity to learn more about the elected officials and amendments included on the midterm ballot. Frederick County Board of Supervisors Chairman John Jewell will share his experience with local elections and discuss the importance of civic engagement at the local level. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and the event counts for Beyond the Classroom credit.
