Erin Bonham received a Professional Studies Certificate in Music Therapy and Master of Music Therapy from Shenandoah University. A board certified music therapist (MT-BC) since 2018, Bonham began her music therapy professional career by founding a small contract company, Mountain Mama Music Therapy in Inwood, West Virginia. She serves as a clinical practicum supervisor for students in Shenandoah’s music therapy undergraduate and graduate certificate programs. In addition to her clinical and teaching work through Shenandoah University, Bonham was recently employed by West Virginia University Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to develop a music therapy program for their inpatient behavioral health unit, and plans to extend services into a hospital-wide program.
Erin lives in West Virginia with her husband Brian and their four children, Eleanor, Abigail, Charlotte and Wilson. She is a lover of all things music and people, and spends her free time connecting with others, making music, traveling and playing games with friends and family.
